Mediation

Providing independent, objective third-party facilitation of conflicts through an interest-based approach.
We assist all parties to gain a deeper understanding of all perspectives.
We guide individuals to have a productive conversation to discuss their concerns and to find a solution that benefits all parties involved.

Investigation

The investigative process is a progression of activities or steps moving from evidence gathering tasks, to information analysis, to theory development and validation. Our investigation process involves:

Gathering evidence
A trauma-informed approach on interviewing all parties
Objectively analyzing all evidence gathered
Formulating a hypothesis, and
Making a recommendation based on applicable policies and procedures.

Assessments & Recommendations

We evaluate our client’s current conflict resolution policies and procedures.
We create independent, third-party conflict management mechanisms.
We provide recommendations on how to improve existing systems.

Safesport Consultation

We offer policy review, assessment, and provide recommendations.
We provide independent, safe sport management services under the guidance of the UCCMS (Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport).
We create a complete conflict management mechanism (complaint intake, conflict resolution, investigation and recommendations) that aligns with the organizational safe sport policies.

Conflict Coaching

We offer one on one meetings for the purpose of enhancing our client’s ability to resolve their disputes or to prepare for an alternate dispute resolution process.

About Us

We came together to start this business in 2021 upon witnessing so many people being consumed by conflict.

Marc Johnson

Marc Johnson has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Education in Policy Studies, both from the University of Alberta.

Marc has been a Chartered mediator for over 10 years; he was part of the Alberta Provincial Civil Claims Mediation Program, where he assisted hundreds of individuals in resolving their Civil lawsuits. The subject matter of these conflicts ranged from real estate, family disputes and corporate.

Marc also has over 15 years of experience in post-secondary education, where he has mediated and investigated a wide variety of educational-related matters, such as students’ inappropriate behaviour, disruption in the classroom, sexual violence incidents as well academic-related conflicts.

His experience in post-secondary includes working as an ombudsman with the University of Alberta for 7 years and working as an Officer with the Office of Student Judicial Affairs with NorQuest College for 5 years.

Marc was recognized with a certificate of appreciation by the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General for his invaluable dedication and service as a mediator in 2016.

Paola Rosnau

A native of Argentina, Paola has obtained a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master’s degree in international business from the Catholic University of Buenos Aires.

Paola has been a lawyer for over 25 years, specializing in labour and family law. Working as a lawyer, she managed legal proceedings from start to finish, which included investigations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, attending hearings and providing legal advice.

Paola has dealt with multiple high-conflict cases. Her passion for alternate dispute resolution processes allowed her to apply her mediation and negotiation skills to successfully assist her clients in resolving their legal matters.

Paola’s legal background, valuable experience, and extensive networking in the international business world provided the opportunity to become a Licensed FIFA Match Agent. Paola has successfully organized several international friendly matches and tours in Canada and USA. She is one of the few female FIFA Match Agents in the world.
